The other differences between HFFS and VFFS include;

HFFS is capable of packaging a diverse range of products in contrast to VFFS.

Less floor area is required in VFFS since the process is done vertically unlike the HFFS which may occupy a larger floor area.

HFFS allows for a wider variety of packaging closures and types than VFFS.

For heavier products, HFFS is preferred over VFFS as the product travels along the conveyor belt instead of being fed from a feeding spot.

VFFS is perfect for sealed pouches and sachets rather than units with other closures i.e. nozzles or zips.

VFFS is considered more cost-effective than the HFFS and hence can fit the majority of budgets. However, it is also important to note that HFFS is also cost-effective but not as effective as the VFFS.
