Feeding Mechanism

The simplicity or complexity of feeding mechanisms will depend on the machine design. For instance, you may have:

Once the containers reach the feeding station, the filling nozzle directs liquid into the containers. That is, the nozzles control the direction of the flow of liquids into the containers ensuring accurate filling.

The filling nozzles come in different configurations depending on the type of liquid and machine’s design. For instance, your filling nozzle may feature:

  • Twin head filling mechanism
  • Rotary liquid filling head
  • Volumetric filling
  • Liquid level filling
  • Net-weight filling, etc.

Container Platform

Whenever you are filling containers, they should be on a flat platform for filling. These container platforms come in many designs depending on the machine design.

Turntable

It rotates ensuring each container passes through all the desired filling stations and also offers a platform for filling nozzles

Capping Mechanism

After filling containers with liquids, sealing is critical to ensure the content is safe and free from any contamination.

Capping ensures proper sealing of the containers to avoid any possible leakage or contamination. There are many capping mechanisms which include:

  • Screw caps
  • ROPP caps or,
  • Crown caps

PLC Control System

From the PLC system, you can control all parameters and change setting of your machine depending on the liquid filling requirements. For instance, you can control filling volume and level.

Besides, you can control filling speed and program other data for liquid fillers. At the same time, you can monitor various filling processes and store data regarding the machine operations.

Valve System

Valve controls the flow of liquids during the filling process. For instance, they help to control overflowing during the container filling process. This ensures there is no unnecessary wastage.

Sensors

Sensors observe and keep track of the filling process to ensure precise filling of the containers. Usually, the sensor systems are fully integrated with the PLC system for a smooth and efficient liquid-filling process.

Reservoir

Also called a product container, it keeps the liquid to be distributed to the containers ensuring a continuous supply.
